My four week stint in Palmerston North has been completed, and my current house sit finds me in suburban Cambridge for a brief stay to fill in a short gap before my next booking, which will see me in the Rotorua area for just over a fortnight, before I return to Rongotea once again for a five-week stay with Beryl and Iris.
It’s a nice town this, I’ve always liked Cambridge. I’ve looked after several properties in this area over the years. My present abode is a cosy unit located in a cul-de-sac type of lane (I believe it’s technically called a ROW or Right-Of-Way) and it’s in one of the quieter, and seemingly newer, parts of town.
My housemate is a gorgeous long-haired kitty cat who goes by the name of Cookie, and if I remember rightly she’s around 13 years of age. She’s smoochy and chatty and we were best mates before too long.
